Losing Frustration and Gaining Confidence
Jonathan Price is a Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with 16 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. He prides himself on meeting people where they are in their journey and celebrating all progress big or small.
Jonathan grew up a chubby kid that was not too great at sports (although that was his passion) he was picked on because of his weight and even had a sibling sing “rolling down the river”‘ to him (due to his belly fat rolls) and was cut from athletic teams over and over. Jonathan persevered and finally made the high school basketball team on his third attempt. While this helped him lose over 25 lbs of excess fat, now he was a skinny, unathletic teenager. Jonathan began to lift weights on his own and as he became stronger, his self confidence grew and grew and Jonathan knew he wanted to help people do the same: to feel empowered and strong and more confident about their bodies.
Nutritionally, Jonathan struggled with digestive issues from childhood through adulthood. By chance he began reading the Paleo Diet by Loren Cordain and eventually the Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf. This take on ancestral nutrition made rational sense to him and within weeks of implementing a real food, ancestral approach his digestive issues all but disappeared. Jonathan began to read and research nutrition at every opportunity and finally enrolled in the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner program through through the Nutritional Therapy Association which gave him the qualifications and knowledge to begin helping more people and especially those have become frustrated with diet and losing weight.
